FAQs
1) Whereabouts do you run your workshops or give your talks? Talks in Time is based in the Midlands, but can travel throughout the country.
2) Do you need to have any musical knowledge to take part in the workshops? No, it is assumed that participants will have little or no musical knowledge. We do, however, find that the workshops bring out the creative and collaborative side of their participants.
3) What equipment do you need for a workshop? A large room which doesn't contain expensive equipment and which can be used for noisy, fun activities without disturbing colleagues! Outside venues can be sourced if your company doesn't have a suitable space. Hand-held percussion instruments, pitched instruments and other activities will be brought in by Talks in Time. Please arrange refreshments yourself, as Talks in Time is unable to do this.
4) Who are the talks aimed at? Talks can be tailored to their audience. Typically this would be adults in a corporate or leisure setting, with either an after-dinner or conference setting. Talks in this setting can also be based on team building activities with delegates taking an active role. Alternatively an entertainment setting for groups and clubs in daytime or evening.
